The Budapest Climate Agency was established to promote the energy-efficient and climate-conscious development of the capital. Our mission is to accelerate improvements in energy efficiency, thereby reducing the carbon footprint and utility costs of Budapest’s residential buildings, while simultaneously enhancing the quality of life for the city’s inhabitants.
About us
The Budapest Climate Agency started its operation in June 2024 at the initiative of the Municipality of Budapest. We provide support to district municipalities, residents' associations, and households, while engaging all stakeholders committed to promoting climate awareness and achieving affordable energy costs.

ManagEnergy is an initiative of the European Commission to support climate and energy agencies. It aims to help these agencies lead the energy transition and accelerate sustainable energy investments in regions and cities.
