Ada brings over three decades of expertise in climate and energy policy. In May 2024, she was appointed as the Head of the Budapest Climate Agency. Since 2019, she has served as Chief Advisor to the Mayor of Budapest on Climate and Energy Policy and played a key role in establishing the City’s Climate and Environment Department. Previously, she founded and led Energiaklub, the Hungarian most well-known climate think tank based in Budapest. Later on she joined E3G - Third Generation Environmentalism - and contributed to energy and climate policy with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe. Ada advised both the Hungarian government and the European Green MEPs. In recognition of her impact, Forbes named her one of Hungary’s most influential women in 2015, and in 2020 she received the European Commission’s Women in Energy Award.
